No. GenderDataLab opens access ready-to-use data. You can visit the section DataSets and you can download and remix them. This is an openspace.
Join us to get the free account. Once you have an account, you will be able to add datasets.

Of course. The access to the datasets section is open and available to everyone. Signing enables you to become a Community member and to add &share datasets, as well as to enjoy other services.
Everyone can register. Citizen scientists, data communities, data schools for teachers & students, feminists, gender experts, civil society organizations, hackers, Single users can create their own account and settings. Organizations can have multiple users to contribute to their data dashboard.
You can start opening an account for free. We will ask you what organization do you represent, and confirm it as well as other details and you will be able to manage your organization account. If you need full assistance please contact us, through any link in the web sticky menu
In the registration process you will be asked if you are joining an Organization. You should indicate it. Your organization will validate you, and you will become a member of it. In case you missed any of this contact us and we’ll help you.
